Firestorm Friday Stock Blog - 06/05/09

Well, another eventful Thursday, and all I can think of is that line from the Disney movie, "The Incredibles", when the irritating boss starts badgering Mr. Incredible stating, "I'm not happy Bob. NOT HAPPY." Needless to say, I'm not happy with the barrage of red lately.

I did make some profit earlier, and should have sold all my shares of BZCN, but I thought it would rebound as it did the day before. Boy, I was wrong. Here was a perfect stock, with 50% profit, and I got greedy. Now I'm in a hole by a small percentage. Since this stock does well in the morning, I'm hoping for a reasonable rebound. Fingers crossed.

AXL was a surprise today, and had a surge. It has some upward potential and the signals look good, but so did ANDS, and it tanked a couple days ago. Some had posted on covestor their concerns on the pick, and let's hope this one will do what I expect it will do. If not, I'll sell quickly, early, and minimize my losses. MMs are getting richer everyday, and we're just getting the crumbs. I don't know whether if any MM reads my posts (I highly doubt it), but I sometimes feel like my efforts are thwarted.

And then there is LGTT. Now, I'm sure it's a nice jesture to extend an invite to a shareholders meeting on a cruise ship, but I sure hope it doesn't have a plank. I think some "investors" would make it mandatory for this CEO to walk it. One good stock buddy of mine suggested he come with many floaties for the trip. If the stock was doing well, I could understand this, but how on earth can you have a subpenny stock, hitting new quartely lows, and promote a stupid cruise trip for a software security company? Focus on the acquisitions and financials knucklehead. If you want to go on vacation, taking irrate shareholders is not the way to go. Focus on your software. Stop the videos. Stop bashing your "investors" (of which we are not by choice). Sorry for the rant, but his pure foolishness is making me lose money and my cool.

Moving on, I'm going to be starting my 10% challenge next week. If you don't know what I'm taking about, you can read my Wednesday post. I should have my new Sogotrade account by early next week, and I will start with $2,000. I might just begin this with my current account as well. Small gains are the way to go this summer folks. I've got to move from the multi-bagger syndrome. It's killing my account.
